Wedding Info

Weddings are a production. Plain and simple. So unless you prefer to be doing everything yourself and coordinate come wedding day, having experienced vendors with hundreds of weddings and events under their belt makes the entire difference. It requires trusting their knowledge and you get what you pay for.

My ultimate goal is to allow things to happen naturally and capture moments freely. In other words, you get to enjoy your day with everyone in attendance. When the time comes to direct and pose, I have you covered.

Things to look for with photographers:
- Do you like their editing style?
- Do you like their vision and composition for moments?
- Are they experienced with off-camera flash?
- Are you limited to receiving a certain number of images?
- Do you have copyright release to the images?
- Does the online gallery expire?

I can't answer the first two questions for you, but as for the rest:
1. Am I experienced with off-camera flash?
- Very much so. We can get creative indoors if the weather turns sour or can also get some creative shots if it's raining!

2. Are you limited to a certain number of images you receive?
- Whatever turns out the best, you receive. I don't have a limit on edited images. I use two cameras so I can shoot more freely and not have to change lenses constantly. This allows more captured moments you get to remember and see more of your day.

3. Do you have copyright release to the images?
- Yes. You can print what you like on your own.

4. Does the online gallery expire?
- Nope. That way it acts as offsite backup in case something happens.

Some photographers give you a limited number of photos, a limited amount of time to download the photos, delete the gallery after a time window, and have to pay to upload the images again if something happens on your end. I also can't stress this enough: meet with potential photographers and view full wedding galleries. You don't want to be blindsided with a product that isn't what you expected based off of social media feeds.

Again, my ultimate goal is for you to enjoy your wedding day. Photographers are multifaceted when it comes to helping with things. Carrying the dress train, fluff the dress 100 times, fix hair for the whole bridal party, pin boutonnières, coordinate so you don't have to, be your server when it's time to eat, make sure you're hydrated, and herd cats so you don't have to!

Additional info:
1. Do you offer smaller packages?
Of course! If you're looking for coverage for simply a ceremony and some other aspects like family and portraits, I can accommodate a package that includes what you want.

2. What's the retainer fee to hold the date and services?
The retainer fee is 30% of the package subtotal and is due within 30 days of signing the contract. Pay whatever you like after that, as long as final payment is made by two weeks prior.

3. Should I get a 2nd shooter?
The main benefits of having another photographer are getting ready photos (two people, different spots at the same time), having different angles/compositions, and communicating to others while I continue to coordinate/shoot. If everything is in one venue, I typically don't recommend a 2nd shooter.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

What people Are Saying:

"Phillip is fantastic to work with! I am a local wedding planner in the Memphis area and last night I had the pleasure of working with him. Several times I would hear the bride mention that she needed so-and-so from the bridal suite and every time he said "I've got it!," "I'll go grab it!," etc. He worked very diligently and was extremely professional. He is kind, patient, and you can tell, very passionate about his job. It was a pleasure working with Phillip and I will recommend him to all of my future brides!" -Marleigh
